Dr. Bode

Dr. Bode grew up on a family farm near Centerville, where her family has farmed for over 150 years. After graduating first in her class from Centerville High School, Dr. Bode attended Purdue University on a Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship. At Purdue she studied biology and psychology. Dr. Bode’s academic and campus-wide achievements earned her induction into the Purdue chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.

Dr. Bode is a graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she graduated with high distinction and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon academic honor society. In addition, she was recognized as the top student in both restorative dentistry and orthodontics. She completed her orthodontic residency at Temple University in Philadelphia, receiving both her orthodontic certificate and master’s degree. 

Dr. Bode strives to be the best orthodontist possible. To become board certified, an orthodontist must pass a written exam, a clinical exam, and present real-life case studies to a peer review board. The written and clinical exams are rigorous. The initial certification process can take between five and ten years to complete, and then the orthodontist must become recertified every ten years.

Dr. Bode and her husband keep busy with a daughter and two sons. Dr. Bode enjoys spending her free time running, making messy crafts, and caring for her herd of rabbits.
